The 53-year-old has just returned to the Ukrainian Front after a trip to the United States and was busy instructing his group of discipline and the right trench excavation technique.

“Today, we will strengthen the basement,” Pastor said, after leading a group prayer.

“We will buy some more gas cylinders, develop evacuation plans. Each of us has to prepare a small bag with clothes and documents,” he told the group.

“At night, I will check how ready you are.”

Pro-west sentiment runs high in Mokhnenko class. The pastor’s office was decorated with Ukrainian flags and the US which was supported by empty artillery shells.

“The situation is very serious,” he said seriously. “But we will be ready.”

The trench around the eastern village of Chervone, at the Azov coastal Sea, was first excavated during a much smaller military increase in November 2018.

Then, a Russian warship shot and intercepted Ukrainian ships who had tried to pass from the Ukrainian Black Sea Port from Odessa to the Azov Sea.

But the Antekasi Kremlin from the Krimea Ukrainian region in a few weeks after the 2014 Revolution made such a dangerous trip.
