A military cargo aircraft Ilyushin IL-76 crashed and caught fire while landing near the city of Ryazan Russia on Friday,
killing four of the nine people on the ship, the Ria news agency reported, quoting the local authority.Five people were hospitalized in an injury, said Ria.
The Interfax news agency separately quoted the Russian Ministry of Defense which said the aircraft suffered engine damage while on training flights. The ministry does not provide details of the crew’s death.
