The trailer for Ch Balki’s Chup, starring Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt, Dulquer Salmaan and Shreya Dhanwanthary came out.
A psychological thriller, the film saw Sunny Deol trying to track a serial killer – who was unusual at the time, because this special criminal starred in the body of his victim when they killed them. Their target is the film critic, which gets ranked carved on their foreheads because they are killed mercilessly.

The trailer itself is bleeding with people who are killed in a terrible way, interspersed with a frightening time -time of romance between Dulquer and Shreya. The film also remembers the depression of Guru Dutt after the film Kagaz to Phool was thrown away by critics.
There are some highly questionable dialogues such as, “Film is a director’s baby, kisse to Bacche Ka Rape Kaise Kar Site Ho?” And Pooja Bhatt emphasized the points and messages of the film, “You critics are killers.”
In an interview with PTI, Dulquer said that he was really waiting to see how the film ‘Experimental’ was accepted. “When Balki Sir offered me Chup, I was surprised and said, ‘Are you really thinking about me for this role?’
Because it is something I have never done before. It’s not typical in any form. I think for him too, this is an experimental film but this is something that I am very curious. All of you will also be curious about it when it comes out, “he said.
The film was announced on the commemoration of the death of the legendary film maker Guru Dutt last year. Balki said that Chup was “Ode for sensitive artists”.
