A few hours after Raju Srivastava was cremated in Delhi on Thursday, Amitabh Bachchan wrote about the late comedian on his blog. Amitabh called him “colleagues, friends, and creative artists on his latest blog. Raju died on Wednesday at the age of 58, after 41 days of hospitalization at Delhi’s All Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) where he was treated after Delhi’s heart attacked.
Amitabh wrote, “Another colleague, friend, and a creative artist left us. Suddenly the disease and (he) left before time, before the time of his creativity was over. Every day in the morning, with him in the spirit and information from the close.”
Raju was cremated in Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi according to Hindu rituals on Thursday. His wife Shikha Srivastava, their son Ayushmann was there. They joined Sunil Pal and Ahsaan Qureshi, director Madhur Bhandarkar and singer Ram Shankar among many others who paid their last respects to Raju.
Last month, the report claimed that Amitabh had sent a voice recording to the Raju family and played for comedians when he was in a coma. India Today’s report has claimed the message is, “It’s enough Raju. Rise up Raju, and continue to teach us all to laugh.”
The actor wrote about the voice recording he had shared when Raju was in a coma. He also said that Raju had opened his eyes when he heard the recording. “They are advised to send votes to arouse his condition.
I did it and they played it for him in his state in his ear. In one example he opened his eyes a little and then, leaving. Time and humor of daily languages about his birth will remain with us. Unique, open, honest, and filled with humor. He smiles from the sky now and will be the reason for the miracle with God.
