After the success of “Oh Baby”, the same producer buys remake rights from other Korean films and throwing two heroes in the story. Thus came out “Saakini Daakini”.

Shalini (Nivetha Thomas) is a telangana girl from a rural background. Daamini (Regina Cassandra) is the daughter of two police officers. Shalini and Daamini were chosen for police work. They joined the academy for training.

Initially, Shalini and Daamini did not get along well with each other. They each get the nickname Saakini and Daakini. One incident united them, and they turned into friends. When they saw a girl kidnapped one night, they tried hard to save the girl and explore a big medical fraud.

Artist Performance:

Nivetha Thomas has tried to provide comedy with the delivery of slang telangana and her food habits. His physical appearance almost did not guarantee the role of the police but he made it up with his appearance. Regina played her role well.

Bhanu Chander as responsible for the academy is okay. Bhadram, Prudhvi, Raghu Babu, and Sudharshan get an unimportant part.Camera work and background scores are worth talking about. Dialogue functioning.

Comedy Nivetha Thomas

Boring narrativeEven before the completion of the shooting, director Sudheer Varma came out of “Saakini Daakini” because of the difference with the producer.

Buzz is that the other director completes the remaining and post-production parts. No wonder Sudheer Varma made a wise decision.

The comedy drama that should have been originally intended for OTT consumption. This film will be maintained on the OTT platform but in the cinema, it turns out to be a boring business.

The film is based on the Korean action drama “Midnight Runners”. The Telugu version exchanged protagonist sex. But the biggest problem with this remake is the story itself. The plot makes no sense and does not match our background.

In the middle of the film, two trainee police officers approached the police station to complain about the abduction of a girl. But police officers did not take this case or responded to the kidnapping problem. Did something like that happen in Hyderabad? Why did an IG -level officer scold the training officers when they told about the kidnapping by telephone? Will he not remind police officers? And where in India, Happy Ending (you know the true meaning of it) Massage parlors work so openly and that is also at night?

When the writer does not have basic knowledge, stories like that are re -made.This film provides entertainment when Saakini and Daakini quarrel with each other at the Training Academy. But the rest of this drama makes no sense and can be predicted.Overall, “Saakini Daakini” is not logical. And the bad remake of a Korean action.
