The famous actor and politician Krishnam Raju died on September 11 at the age of 83 due to post-Covid-19 complications at the Asia Gastroenterology Institute Hospital in Hyderabad, India.
Krishnam Raju has starred in more than 183 features in his career. He made his film debut with the 1966 Chilaka film and he later got the title ‘Rebel Star’ because of his rebel acting style.
After his death, several Tollywood stars such as Mahesh Babu, JR NTR, Chiranjeevi, Anushka Shetty, Sai Dharam Tej paid their tribute to the legendary actor, including Vijay Deverakonda.
Actor Arjun Reddy was seen in Krishnam Raju’s residence in Hyderabad on Sunday. He was arrested with his hands folded as he paid his last respects to the rebel star together with Prabha.
In another video, his nephew Prabhas was seen crying uncontrollably while Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu comforted him. Allu Arjun also appeared to pay their respects and condolences, and seemed to be entertaining Prabha.

The last rite of the former Minister of Uni U.V. Krishnam Raju will be held on Monday afternoon in Maha Prasthanam in Jubilee Hills. The remnants of mortal have been stored in their residence, where they will remain until Monday afternoon to allow their fans to pay their last respects and condolences.
Some of the most successful films from the late Krishnam Raju include Palnati Pourusham, Sita Ramulu, Rangoon Rowdy, Krishnaveni, Sati Savitri, Sri Vinayaka Vijayamu and many more. In the late 1990s, he became active in politics.
He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and was elected as a member of the 12th and 13th Sabha Lokha from the electoral district of Kakinada and Narrasapuram. He served as Minister of State for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Third Vajpayee Ministry from 1999 to 2004.
In March 2009, he joined the Rajyam Praja Party, which was founded by Chiranjeevi. In the 2009 general election, he fought over the MP seat from the Rajahmundry constituency and was lost.
